Jenn Beachler began writing poetry and drawing as a child while watching the frogs, caterpillars, and birds she loved. These forms of communication seemed the only ways to express the wonder she felt in this huge world—her first experiences with the Sublime. The arts embody the contrasts of those things that are both too vast and too minute to fully comprehend. Visual art and poetry help her to express the joy she finds in the smallest spaces of her life. She is currently teaching and working on an MFA in creative writing.
